Long Close pupils have always cherished the exciting events organised by our amazing Friends of Long Close teams. From joyful Christmas Fayres and thrilling Easter Egg Hunts to heartfelt presents for Mother's Day, these events hold a special place in our school life.
As we embrace a return to normalcy in our day-to-day lives, the value of face-to-face events, social connections, and fundraising activities remains significant, leaving a lasting impression on our school and childhood memories.
The support from our parent body has resulted in vital long-term investments, including quality gazebos, table tennis equipment, and a mobile PA system, benefitting the entire school community.

Additionally, having a parent representative from each Year Group spreads the word and gathers volunteers as needed.
